Retrofit Jobs

We at Om Cooling System perform retrofit jobs of HVAC equipment for commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. With energy costs soaring and energy efficiency being a paramount concern, it’s probably time for you to assess your building’s HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system.

Retrofitting an existing commercial, residential as well as industrial HVAC system can be challenging, but the results are well worth the effort. Conserving energy and improving cost efficiency are the primary reasons to retrofit your existing HVAC System coordinating and scheduling all of the necessary trades needed to complete the work can be very challenging and a single delay or missed step can set the project back for days.

The fact is that heating and air conditioning systems have a limited useful life. When they’re properly maintained, this can be a long time: often as much as 20 years. Even so, parts will eventually begin to wear out, while technological progress marches along the entire time. It’s simply not practical to replace the original air conditioner in a 30-year-old building with the same model. However, some of those 30-year-old parts are probably continuing to do their jobs just fine, so by the same token, it’s not necessary to replace them.

Including some new technology in your HVAC system will save you a good deal on your energy bill. It will also extend the life of the system you have in place. With regular care and maintenance, you’ll be able to avoid having to do a costly full replacement while still reaping the benefits of an upgrade.

In a retrofit job, insisting on the full replacement of any part we will simply replace parts that are out of date. Suppose your furnace is too old, that can be replaced and your chiller has seen better days, our HVAC professional can replace that too. But maybe your blower motor still works perfectly then we don’t replace that part. A retrofit will only replace parts that need to be replaced, leaving other ones alone which results in making your equipment as new as earlier.

Once the retrofit process is complete, make sure you retain the services of your HVAC professional for regular maintenance. A retrofit will extend the working life of your heating and cooling system but only if the parts are regularly inspected, cleaned, and repaired when necessary. A check-up of all the parts, new and old, in your retrofitted HVAC system should be performed approximately once a year. For that, we also provide a Customized Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) specially designed for your products where we perform regular/scheduled checkups and do the required maintenance for the smooth running of your product.

We have the experience and resources needed to efficiently manage the entire HVAC retrofitting jobs from start to finish. Our customers depend on us not only for the design, engineering, and installation of their new system but also to handle the challenge of arranging and coordinating all of the work necessary to complete the entire retrofit on schedule.
